Privacy, in plain words.
This site has two sign-up forms: the free food reels guide and the CounterCut waitlist. Here is everything that happens with what you type into them.
What we store
| Field | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email | To send you the guide or the launch email. Required. |
| Which list you joined | "food" (the guide) or "cut" (the waitlist), so you only get what you asked for. |
| Business name, your role, preferred language | Optional. Helps us write emails that fit you (for example, in Spanish). |
| Where you came from | A short tag from the link you clicked (like "ig-food"), so we know which posts are working. |
| Sign-up date | Recorded automatically. |
That's all. No tracking pixels, no ad cookies, no analytics scripts on this site. The page remembers your EN/ES choice in your own browser, and nothing else.
How we use it
Only for CounterCut emails: the guide, the launch announcement and occasional updates about CounterCut. We don't sell, rent or share your email with anyone for their marketing.
Where it lives
Sign-ups are stored in a database run by Supabase, our database provider. The site is hosted on Vercel, which sees standard web request data (like your IP address) when the page loads.
Unsubscribe or delete
Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and ask us to delete your information, and we will.
The CounterCut product itself
This page is about the website. The CounterCut editor runs on your own computer and your video files stay there.
Contact
Questions or deletion requests: reply to any email you got from CounterCut and we'll take care of it.
